Notes:

We were walking along a marsh trail when it got too muddy we had to turn back and we found this on our way back. We wouldn't have missed it the first time, so it must have been laid in the 10 or so minutes we were walking.
I've seen nests before, but I have never seen an egg laying in the grass like this.
