Field Notes

Description:

Vibrant yellow-green markings on the back of this Southern Cricket Frog. I've never seen one quite so bright.

Habitat:

Semi-permanent rain pools along the edge of a pine forest.

Notes:

I spotted this little guy while he was swimming. His bright markings did not help him camouflage himself.
