Description:

flowers reach a diameter of 8 to 10 cm, and often have orange or purple spots, the stems can be measured from 1 to 1.5 m (rarely 2 m). This type of flowers are yellow.

Habitat:

It is commonly found in swamps, the plant thrives faster, is primarily an aquatic, it proongados rhizomes survive dry periods. This is used in Iris remendiacion water, because it has ability to absorb heavy metals through their roots.

habitat is marshes and shores of Europe formerly had medicinal uses and their leaves and roots are poisonous to livestock.
