Notes:

Bronzed Cowbirds are a rare sight in Florida, more commonly seen in south Texas. This one was on the wire alongside a main road in Homestead, Fl.

Jamie this was total luck finding this bird. When I saw a very black cowbird on the wire, I quickly made a turn into a parking lot, expecting it to be a shiny cowbird. I got a nice surprise when I saw the red eye:-)
shoot i was just down there looking for some… just a huge number of brown headed cowbirds. i might have seen one but i just got a glimpse of something red before the whole flock of cowbirds took off. oh well… it could have been a red leg band.
