Description:
A small (5mm) beetle with a large textured pronotum and ribbed elytra.
These beetles come from a small and unnoticed family called Bothrideridae.
They are believed to be fungal feeders.
They are most common under the bark of dead or dying trees.
Habitat:
Found under bark of a dead tree.
