Description:

Adult Sri Lankan weevils vary in length from approx. 6.0 - 8.5 mm; the female weevil is slightly larger than the male by 1.0 - 2.0 mm. Toothed femora, strongly angled humeri are broader than the prothorax, the yellow coloration of the head, and dark mottled dark elytra.
