Field Notes

Description:

Second largest and heaviest marsupial and native land mammal in Australia. Soft grey coat, silver or cream and sometimes white belly. Their eyes seem large and wide open. Adult male can weigh around 50-66kg and females 17-40kg. Large males are heavily built and muscled.

Habitat:

Open grassland near water. Wilpena Pound SA
