Description:

This hardy perennial wildflower is a member of Amaryllis family, producing lone stems some 50cm in height, bearing heads of densely packed purple flowers.

Habitat:

Common all over Europe, here observed on banks of Krka river in Krka NP (Croatia). Krka river is surrounded by a magnificent dense broad-leaved forest.

Notes:

There were two visitors on these flowers, I'm trying to ID them - so feel free to advice...
