Field Notes

Description:

Dozens of groups of 5-10 of these were resting on dry plant material, near sunset time. During the day they are on native Buckwheat . They look like a light purple blue when flying around, very small, so I've included some photos of the wings open.

Habitat:

Chaparral / Oak woodland
