Field Notes

Description:

Milky white plumage. Black beak...I am guessing black legs as well with yellow feet.

Habitat:

We have two large waterbodies near our house and one of these has a football field right next to it. Monsoon means rain and flooding and growth of grass and muddy football games plus happy hunting for the birds. I usually see lots of Cattle Egrets...this one is a rare visitor. I took the shots from across the road sitting inside the car.
