Ah, yes, one of my favorite plant websites! Here in south Sinai, the Bedouin eat the leaves in salad and also drive their herds to eat this plant to cure intestinal parasites.

From this site :http://www.wildflowers.co.il/hebrew/plant.asp?ID=603 I understood that it's used to treat liver, kidney and bladder problems, and also to treat diarrhea and helminthiasis.
