Thanks Tiz and Stian. Looks like it's 'Eriophorum vaginatum'. Nice to have some Scandinavian experts like you both :)
In Sweden, there are seven known species all growing in moist soils. Three of those has one single ax at the top; E. brachyantherum and E. russeolum and the one you suggested Stian Eriophorum vaginatum. I love those, I used to collect them and play with them whan I was a kid :)
@Faredin - This is a species of cottongrass (Eriophorum), but not sure which one. It could be hare's-tail cottongrass..
