Yes, they look like the same species. By darkening to blue instead of white she can definitely avoid being labeled as a zebra :)
Thanks LaurenZarate. This seems to be another that i found (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/23029090). This leafhopper developed blue spots instead of white spots. She does not want to be compared to a zebra.
