inchworm, name for the larvae of moths of the family Geometridae, a large, cosmopolitan group with over 1,200 species indigenous to North America.

Habitat:

pine forest in western Maryland

Nice! i once found an Inch worm too! it was brownish blackish and crooked bumps on its body. Sadly i did not get a picture of it.
