Description:

The flower stem stood about 18 inches high. It was located beside a river, near the base of a waterfall. The ground was moist and very dark. I found a large patch of these flowers in Manchester, CT.

In wet places such as bogs, beside streams and rivers.

Defiantly forget-me-not and they do grow wild but even domestic I had some that would reach my window about 3 feet as a kid
Forget me nots or myosotis do grow wild June, there are about 50 different species including wood and field varieties :-)
I would have said yes if it was in a garden, but these were growing wild. They were nearing 2 feet tall where they were growing.
