Field Notes

Description:

A young specimen about 200mm tall. Cap still conical and covered with very fine, pale brown specks. This crazy one seems to have the stipe passing through the side of the cap. (The partial veil has opened only part way)

Habitat:

Eucalyptus rainforest national park.

Notes:

Synonymous with Macrolepiota procera which has darker brown fragments and usually a darker stipe ??
