I've had the occasional one of those land on me too - & American snouts! It always feels a privilege!
That's so great. I had a red-spotted purple stay on me for quite a long hike once. It ate sweat off my arm, and seemed particularly interested in something on my boot. Thanks for helping me recall a lovely memory.
Thank you drP - they are one of my favorite butterflies as I often end up with 1 or 2 of them hitchhiking on me when I am doing yard work!
