Description:
The largest tree frog of North America. Nocturnal, tree-dwelling. Highly variable in color. Tan with pretty design darker brown markings. Big eyes. 2 inches long (5.08 cm) Eats most anything that can fit in its mouth including insects, spiders, snakes, snails, lizards, etc. Mates all year round. Secrets a toxic mucous for defense, so do not handle.
Habitat:
Gardens, Trees, Grass, Sidewalk area of Wilderness Lodge near Bay Lake (Disney World)
Notes:
Native to Cuba and Bahamas and now in Florida. Invasive species, but sure cute.
