Description:

Borage (Borago officinalis L.), is an annual herb native to Syria, but it is grown throughout the Mediterranean, Asia Minor, Europe, North Africa and South America. Borage grows in height from 60 cm to 100 cm, has a prickly-hairy stems and leaves, leaves are simple, 5-15 cm long. The flowers are five-fold symmetry with triangular pointed petals, usually blue, but can be pink or white.

Habitat:

among grass, in damp area

Notes:

Borage oil is extremely rich in anti-inflammatory acid, therefore, belongs to the most healing vegetable oils.
