Description:

This is part of the mating ritual of the damselfly.
Vivid blue damselfly is mostly blue with black rings on abdomen. Black stripe on the upper thorax is a fine line. Wings sit above the abdomen which separates it from Bluets who's wing lay next to the abdomen. Females are tan in color.

Habitat:

Mostly found near water.
