Field Notes

Description:

The only Aracari found in the slopes of the Andes in Ecuador. It is endemic to the slope region, and found no where else in the world. This toucan sp. exhibits a crimson rump, and a faint colored large beak with a black line running at the base of the upper mandible.

Habitat:

Cloud forest, on the slopes of the Andes mountain range, Ecuador

Notes:

Handheld, shot at 700mm at 1/40 exp
