Description:

Alpine or Two-leaf Squill is the small, discreet, herbaceous plant from Asparagaceae family, showing up early in springtime. It produces twin basal narrow leaves, followed by short-stemmed (approx 10 cm in length) inflorescence bearing 3 to 8 blue flowers.

Habitat:

Observed on edges of a forest, close to a small lake, early in the spring.
