Flower size: 1-1/2 to 2 inches across
• Flower color: pink
• Flowering time: April to May
• Origin: native

Habitat:

• Habitat: woods, thickets, swamp margins

Notes:

As a child, I used to call this honeysuckle, but then I was corrected many years later that it is actually an azalea. I loved this spring flowering tree. It was always one of my favorites.
