Species ID Suggestions

Hi Christine I am a complete amateur when it comes to idents so welcome any suggestions to the correct identification of this spotting .. thanks
I agree that this is a male mosquito, but I am not sure that it is Ochlerotatus hendersoni. This species usually has lighter scales on the sides of the thorax (see links), and can even be confused with triseriatus. Also, I'm not familiar with mosquito species in Thailand, but I'm not sure that hendersoni occurs there. This looks more like either a male Armigeres or else some other Aedes/Ochlerotatus species. http://bugguide.net/node/view/81412 http://bugguide.net/node/view/61384/bgimage
Thank you for the ident. Lauren. I don't think I have ever seen a male mosquito in all the years I've been in Thailand
