Field Notes

Description:

amazingly flat and camouflaged grasshopper

Habitat:

tropical rainforest, amazon

Notes:

I spotted this grasshopper chillin on a small bush right along side a skinny trail leading to a natural swimming pool at Canalendres, near Mocoa. It was very docile and cooperative. I came back hours later and it was still in the same location.
