Description:

Wonderful is a variety of pomegranate tree known for producing high-quality fruit. Discovered in Florida in 1896, Wonderful is the most popular variety of pomegranate. The seeds are small and juicy, perfect for juicing or eating. They grow naturally in the form of a bush or, with pruning, as a small tree. Wonderful has red flowers, producing red fruit in September and October. Mature trees are 8 to 12 feet in height. Wonderful pomegranate trees are self-fertilizing, so one tree is capable of producing alone.
