Description:
The River Cooter is a fairly large pond turtle with a dark shell the is mottled underneath. The skin is black with some yellow lines. The American Alligator is covered in scutes (bony plates) that vary in brown-gray shades.
Habitat:
Found basking together on a log in a small pond.
