Field Notes

Description:

The two babies are black fuzz balls with orange patches on the sides and head, and they have an orange bill. Mom and dad are with them in the last few pictures :)

Habitat:

Found in a swampy pond, obviously covered in lily pads. The lillies provide good cover for the babies, and mom and dad usually keep them pretty hidden.
