Description:

Yellow tomato-like fruit(?). Looks and feels like a plastic toy but it grows on a tree that resembles a tomato plant. Inside has white flesh with purple seeds, Slight Passion Fruit smell.

THANKS SCOTT! I usually try to photograph both the plant and fruit, but we stopped the car in the middle of the road so I could grab,these off a dead branch someone threw on the road side. So I had to just make do with the fruits.

Andre, this is Solanum mammosum. Since Project Noah is concerned with wildlife it is always preferred to photograph fruits on the growing plant. This shows other parts of the plant and the situation that the plant is growing in.
