Field Notes

Description:

The Clay-colored Thrush,Turdus grayi of the thrush family Turdidae. Is the "National Bird of Costa Rica", where it is well known as the "Yigüirro".

Notes:

I would have never guess there would be a nest there, it is well hidden, the mama Yiguirro was waiting for me to move away to go feed her young, I saw 2 little beaks go up for feeding.
