Description:

A yellow beetle with at least 9 black spots. Its antenna has alternating segments. It eats cucumber, cotton, corn, and bean plants, among others.

Habitat:

Seen in the grassy meadow of Mount Loretto Unique Area.

Notes:

This is considered a major agricultural pest in N. America.
