Field Notes

Description:

A small white mushroom ( about 12 mm wide) with a viscid and striate cap. The centre of the cap was a pale brown. Stipe was translucent with a ring of hyphae at the base.

Habitat:

Spotted on a damp log - ? eucalyptus.

Grows in colonies or clumps on decaying logs in damp forests.

Notes:

Very like the Pixie's Parasol (Mycena interrupta), except for the blue colour.
