Description:
Brown and yellow duckling, c. 3 days after hatching.
Habitat:
Rural suburban neighborhood.
Notes:
This little duckling was part of a nest in our neighbor's backyard; the duck nested in the landscaping next to a large in-ground swimming pool. The duckling slipped through a hole in our fence and we caught him before our dog could catch him.
