Field Notes

Description:

Most common squirrel species seen in the northeast. Mostly grizzled gray, often with browns mixed in around the face, back and tail. White underside.

Habitat:

Woodlands.

Notes:

This one was not pleased with me being in the area, and squacked at me for several minutes before it moved on. We have a lot of them around, but this is the first time I was able to get decent photos.
