Description:
A large brown solitary mushroom about 200 mm wide. The cap margin was slightly inrolled, undulating and irregular. Gills were decurrent, a rusty brown with a whitish bloom and were distinctly forked (pic 4) with cross veins (pic 5).
A thick stipe was stained brown and had hyphae at the base.

Notes:
This is a gilled bolete, with pores arranged along gills. This mushroom appears to be an old specimen. I will attempt to take better shots of the underside next time !
