Such an interesting looking plant.
I have a few of these I plucked from the plants, that the cats didn't manage to find and chew up. They do make a noise if I shake them near my ear. I've always called them rattlesnake seeds.
Thank you Chief RedEarth, keithp2012 and Noel Buensuceso. They didn't make any noise but they do look like rattlesnake rattle.
Looks just like a rattlesnake rattle, does it make noise when shaken?
