Field Notes

Description:

Results of beavers in a spring-fed wetland sanctuary. Too big to be moved, it was no doubt felled for food and smaller branches. They are unwanted guests and are periodically relocated.

Habitat:

Taken along the banks of a small lake in urban NW Omaha (325 masl)

Notes:

I am always amazed at the strength and sharpness of beaver teeth and jaws. Amazing animals
