Field Notes

Description:

This squirrel was seen near the moaning caverns.It is one of the larger ones that I have seen so far.Tail was very bushy and the ears large.Looks like a hybrid.I read that rabid squirrels are large.This one looks healthy.

Habitat:

Vallecito,Calaveras County
