Field Notes

Description:

Pretty sure this is Amanita muscaria of the yellow variety. Eco Village Floyd Bennett Field, BK in white pine needles. Cap lemony yellow. Big cap too, maybe 5" across. Concentric zones from the cup.

Habitat:

pine forest floor

Notes:

This is so exciting to me. Floyd Bennett Field is normally so dry, especially this summer. The rains brought these out.
