Field Notes

Description:

Similar shape to a robin but slightly smaller. Brown upperparts, brown spots on the breast, and a white belly. Similar to the Hermit Thrush but its chest spots are darker and its tail and wings are redder.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. At the edge of a wetland.
