A popular plant used for ornamental landscaping, nerium oleander is a bush that can grow into a tree, sometimes reaching 5 meters in height. Leaves are lanceoleate, growing in groups of three at each stem node, slightly leathery with a simple margin. The white, pink, red or yellow flowers at the end of branches come in clusters, and can be single or double. Flowers have a soft fragrance.
