Description:

Een grote langpootmug (> 3cm). De ovipositor van het vrouwtje is licht naar boven gekruld.

Notes:

Ik ben niet zeker van de identificatie. Is identificatie mogelijk op basis van deze foto's? Ze zijn niet scherp, daarvoor was de mug te snel en mijn camera te amateuristisch.

Thanks, Mark. I think the link you forwarded concerns a Tanyptera, not a Ctenophora. I found a Tanyptera atrata the other day (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/26291038), but I admit I find it hard to determine insects as my insect guide only takes me to the level of families and most online sources seem not very accurate or reliable when it comes to correct insect determination...
