Description:

Medium sized moth with orange and black body and yellow and black wings. Wingspan about 3-4 cm.

Having investigated wasp moths, i wonder if it might be an hour-glass wasp moth (Eressa geographica), however I cannot be sure and I have found no evidence that they are found in India.
