ditch on Hwy 26 on north side just past the BB Wildlife drive on Tamarac NWR near a open area with marsh and rolling hills.

Hi Craig.Your photo is a Willow species.There are several, and also many hybrids.Sorry cant help more.I'm sure an American botanist will recognise the catkins.
