Description:

...and then, in between the nudibranchs, there are the beautiful reef fish!

Common on shallow reefs and reaches 6 inches in length. Females are dark brown with small white dots overall. Males are dark blue with orange markings and black above with large white spots

Habitat:

Shallow house reef at Barra, Inhambane, Mozambique

Notes:

This fish has box-like armor as well as potent chemical defenses.
