Field Notes

Description:

Black ants just over 2 mm, millipede around 20 mm.

Habitat:

Garden in Chiang Mai

Notes:

First spotted this at 11 am, it took the ants just over 4 hours to drag the millipede underground, a distance of just half a meter. The millipede kept rolling into a ball and would after a few minutes try to escape.
