thank you very much LennyWortington yes i also searched about this plant after your comment there are 4 species of Dipterocarpus that are endemic to Sri Lanka they all catogarize as CR and EN in GCS should protect this beautiful tree Thanks again

A beautiful tree.One of two species of Dipterocarpus found here in Thailand. Sadly widely used in cabinet making.So ilegally cut.
