Field Notes

Description:

These shrubs bloom every spring with small white bell-shaped blossoms. New buds and aged buds have tinges of pink. In the summer small, blueberry-like berries appear (smaller than english peas). I thought it might be deerberry, but I'm not quite sure. Not sure if berries are edible for humans, but birds love them.

Habitat:

West Central GA
