Field Notes

Description:

Largest of the Canadian Geese with black white gray markings on the upper body and light gray to white markings on the lower body.

Habitat:

Lakes,ponds rivers and in some cases urban areas close to water.

Notes:

The birds in this post were at a state park in the southeast part of the county, while the birds in the previous post were in the northwest part of the county in a large reservoir.
