Description:

MIgrating Nightjar. Mottled brown, white and grey. Color and pattern camouflages in trees and on the ground. White chin band and a long tail. Small bill with wide mouth. Night flying insect hunter.

Habitat:

Grass lands near water.

Notes:

Spotted this one rousting in the shade on a hot day.
